Reward and recognition programs are critical to every team and organization. And great leaders naturally get this. However, just as important, if not more important is that leaders simply acknowledge people.

This is a must read for every leader. Honestly the best book I have ever read on team development. I have done many workshops based just on this book. Has anyone else read it? Thoughts?

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable

This time, he turns his keen intellect and stor...

Do What You Say You Will Do – Powerful Story – Abraham Lincoln Video

Doing what you say you will do is a matter of integrity. A promise is a promise, right? How do you feel when someone says they will do something, and then they don’t? It is disappointing. That person always loses credibility in my eyes instantly.

Do you or someone you know gossip at work? Very Practical Story

Is gossip at work a problem? If you so, you might want to use the triple filter test. We would all be wise to stop the spreading of gossip, rumors and evil speaking of others dead in its tracks. Here is a great story I heard the other day. It is called the “Triple Filter Test” and has been accredite...

It is way too common for people to be invited to a meeting in which only 10% or less applies to them. Put those who need to attend only for a portion of the meeting at the top of the agenda and give them permission to leave when done.
